Physical and Chemical Properties

 

1. Appearance: The product is a white or off-white fibrous or granular powder, with no odor.


2. Particle Size: It has a pass rate of 98.5% for 100 mesh and 100% for 80 mesh.


3. Carbonization Temperature: The carbonization temperature ranges from 280-300°C.


4. Bulk Density: The bulk density is typically around 0.5 g/cm³ (ranging from 0.25-0.70 g/cm³), with a specific gravity of 1.26-1.31.


5. Discoloration Temperature: The product undergoes discoloration at temperatures between 190-200°C.


6. Surface Tension: A 2% aqueous solution of the product has a surface tension of 42-56 dyn/cm.


7. Water Solubility: The product is soluble in water and some organic solvents, such as ethanol/water, propanol/water, dichloroethane, etc. The water solution exhibits high transparency and stable performance. The solubility varies with viscosity, with lower viscosity resulting in higher solubility. The product's dissolution in water is not affected by pH value.


8. Gelation Point and Solubility: As the methoxy content decreases, the gelation point of the product increases, water solubility decreases, and surface activity decreases.


9. Calorie-Free and Metabolically Inert: The product is calorie-free and metabolically inert, meaning it is not involved in the body's metabolism.
